If you scroll down to postings in this thread from late October/early November, you'll see where I had trouble updating the firmware in my Kiwi3 that the instructions (that you have to download - they don't come with the unit) told me I had to do if running Android 6.0 or later. Well, yesterday it finally came back from PLX with the firmware installed. I was able to connect to my phone using the app "Torque" after tracking down a couple of connection issues that didn't have anything to do with the Kiwi3 not working right. The first thing I tried to do was reset the 02 sensor on my '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I can't say it has anything to do with the Kiwi at this point, in fact, it probably doesn't, but the 02 sensor (check engine light) wouldn't reset under any circumstance, ie: engine running, engine not running but ignition in the "On" position, even engine running and vehicle moving, nothing worked. The Kiwi does have other functionality that I can use, but that was the main thing I bought it for, as I know that even if it does reset, the light (and error code) will come back on a regular basis and I need to keep resetting it if I don't plan on spending the hundreds of dollars to get it "fixed" when there's really nothing wrong with the engine. It could still be that I'm not giving it the right commands in the right sequence within Torque, as I'm completely new at using this technology. I will continue to seek advice through both Torque, PLX and Jeep customer support to definitively answer the question whether or not the 02 sensor can be repeatedly reset through this kind of device, and if it turns out to be "no, it can't," then I will update this post and let everyone know. Otherwise, my advice is beware, because nowhere that I could find before I bought it was a list of vehicles that are compatible for that specific purpose of resetting the 02 sensor, but there were lots of YouTube and written reviews where users said that is what they bought it for and it worked for that purpose for them. This is turning out to require a huge learning curve which I had no desire or intention of putting myself through. I imagine I'm no different than a lot of buyers in that regard.
