Made by knifemaker Matt Cucchiara, the Kizer Compadre is a brawny tactical folder that can be deployed quickly and easily. It features a 4-inch blade made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel, which is known for its toughness and resistance to corrosion. Deploy the blade by pressing on the built-in flipper tab—its heft gives it ample momentum to reach the open position with little effort.
Note: At checkout, choose between the Kizer Compadre and the Kizer Compadre Flame. This drop is limited to 40 units. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
The Compadre’s unique shape gives the knife a flowing, wavy aesthetic. But it also serves a purpose. Its clip-point blade is highly recurved for strength in both piercing and slicing tasks. For a uniform look, the blade’s stonewashed finish matches the matte silver scales, which are constructed from 6AL4V titanium. The handle shape also provides a highly ergonomic fit for both standard and reverse grip. Rounding out the folder is a milled titanium pocket clip for convenient tip-up carry on either side.
Based in Fresno, California, Matt Cucchiara began making knives in 2003 after years of collecting. Always a fan of large tactical folders, Cucchiara is known for designs that combine thick, beefy construction with his own touch of style. A firm believer in function and dependability, he personally field-tests each of his designs and carries one every day.
