I think that your "241g" at the bottom of your description is a double typo. I think you meant "mm" not "g", and you mixed up the numbers... 241mm is about 9.4 inches, 214mm is 8.43 inches (close enough for 8.5 inches.)
As several have pointed out, without effect, saying 241g for chopsticks would make them weigh a touch over half a pound. That would require they be made out of lead, not titanium, given the length and diameter involved.

Have to say... just got mine and they feel like steel not titanium? Other than that I like them lots.

I'll stick to plastic and wood. Less likely to chip my teeth. Lighter to pack.
