With raised jimping on the spine, an aggressively shaped tanto blade, and deep red scales, the Kizer Ki3303 resembles a razorback—and is just as fierce. Sporting a two-toned handle made from a combination of red G-10 and titanium, it provides a natural and secure feel in the palm Read More
I got this a while back, it was my first Kizer. I love the handle color, it's a translucent red/burgundy, has depth to it. No major functional issues with the knife, but... I find it has a weird shape. The bottom is flat. There's no cutout or choil or groove for your finger, it's just a rectangular brick. I haven't had issues using the knife, it doesn't slip out of my hand or anything, but it feels odd to me and I rarely carry it.
I'm not sure what the designer was thinking, considering the top of the knife has subtle angles and texture. Maybe he had to go to the dentist that day and just never got a chance to finish up the bottom half before his boss asked him to hand it in.
Received mine yesterday. It is one of the most impressive packaging I have ever seen - especially for a $58 folder. The knife presentation was inspiring. Included a camo carrying case and Kizer-branded polishing cloth. Awesome knife as well. I will watch for other Kizer drops.
Xxxx1Kizer is a Chinese company but they either work with external designers or make their own designs rather than making copies. I have 3 of their other knives (gemini, flash, and shoal) and they are all very well made.
The opening isn't assisted, but mine has a very smooth action for opening. It was a little larger in my hand than I expected, but it is not unruly by any means. I carry mine almost every day.
