Just got mine in the mail yesterday. Good heavens I like this knife. The action is so nice. Those new ball bearings are amazing. When open there is absolutely no slop. Solid lock up both up and down and side to side. The detent is just a touch on the strong side, but it's perfect for the flicker/kick and even using the thumb stud isn't that hard, especially if you make sure to not put pressure on the frame-lock when trying to open. The thumb stud does spin in its place which is a nice touch to rotate with your thumb. The return detent (which I assume uses the same ball) is perfect. It comes back with exactly the right amount of momentum for a solid close and stays closed. You really have to fling it hard to get it to bounce back up after hitting closed. The titanium clip is actually nicer than I expected. It has a nice flex which is better than most of the steel clips I've had in the past that are super hard to get lock-jawed out of your pants. This knife is so light that you don't need that kind of clip strength. Though I wish it were a deep pocket clip. Speaking of which, I wish they had included a filler part for the top hole, where the clip can be placed for tip down carry. In all honesty I wish they had just made it tip up only without the option of moving it and pushed the clip mount up to where the spacer screw is to just use the same screw for both, making it a deeper clip and getting rid of the hole for tip down carry. Other than that hole, I love the aesthetics of this knife. Very sleek and the blade is perfectly centered. The stone washed finish on it is very fine grain. The frame is thinner than I thought too. Not quite as thin as Hinderer inspired blades but pretty close. It came decently sharp, but will need some touch up. The edge profile is a pretty good shape, but not the most consistent one I've seen before. But that'll all be fixed with a good sharpening. This knife feels extremely well built, like it'll last forever. Definitely one of the best built folding knives I've ever used, and what a bargain it was.

TrilobitesIt really is a nice knife. Very solid and nice feel. It can use a sharpening, though. I think Kizer uses ~25 degree angles on their knives. The G10 Gemini has a smoother action but this one feels a lot nicer.

TheVirusYou're right the g10 Gemini does flip smoother. This one has a more solid feel, but I love both of them. And they were both amazing deals.

brian.allanGood point. I don't know all the reasons, but they did cancel all the blue ones ordered. It also ended early, so maybe the manufacturer didn't want them selling anymore at this low of a price. It might be that this drop at such a low price point was a way to get the newly improved version of this knife into more hands, because the last version hand some flaws. I'm guessing they're trying to improve the perception of this model, which is really quite exquisite now. But this is all total speculation, so just count this post as a load of bs.

brian.allanI also had my blue one cancelled and wished that they had offered this one instead. Being such a great price point, I really wanted this knife as well.

LesterLIf you use 9volts i used 3. The volt meter read them at 28.5 volts. I had to switch one of the batteries doing the second one. It was darker and did not match the first one. When i checked the volts before I switched batteries the they were showing 26.5 volts. That was why the second handle was darker. Switched one batter for a fresh one and I was getting 27.5 volts. Then reanodized the second handle. It then matched. You can change colors going up in voltage but not down. If you want to go back down clean the anodizing off with a rust remover then reanodize. Its kinda fun. If I do much more I'll invest in an adjustable power supply. Only thing that sucks is the bead blasting Kizer did traps oils from you fingers on the anodizing and shows dark spots and fingerprints. You can clean it off with alcohol though.
