Heads up: disassembling a Kizer knife voids the warranty. At least, that's true of the Begleiter that I received last week. It's just a liner-lock, not something like an assisted or automatic with more complicated guts.
I don't think I'll be buying another Kizer.

Why is having the handle made of titanium a selling point? Other than getting to use the word "titanium"?

RochambeauxTitanium is lightweight (compared to steel), corrosion resistant, non magnetic, relatively inexpensive, and can be anodized attractively.
Do these features make for a better knife? That's kind of in the eye of the beholder. The benefits here are probably the capacity to have a framelock cut into the titanium scale (which the G10 scale couldn't support), and the rainbow anodizing job that makes the knife a little more attractive than otherwise.

Jssaylor2007Don't worry bro. MD is an enigma to me. What I do is look at their wares and buy what I like on other web sites for less money and much faster shipping. Not sure who's running the show at MD, but it's hard to believe they make one red cent with their current business model.

I noticed that Kizer doesn't include a steel insert in the titanium framelock in more than several of their models.

I get that B1/B2 is the color pattern difference, but WHICH is WHICH ?? massdrop identification fail. we'll call one "spotted" rainbow and one "transitional" rainbow, which is which model?

rbrjr1Here is a hint to use in the future - go to the last set of photos where both are side by side. If you click on one, look at the top and it will give you the model number for that option.
