Measuring nearly 9 inches long, and built like a tank, the Ki4416A GTi Gingrich Hunter is built to handle anything you throw at it. The 4-millimeter-thick, 3.5-inch blade is spear shaped for piercing, slicing, skinning, and much more. It locks in place thanks to thick 6AL4V titanium liners, which are available in three different colors. Made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel, the blade is highly resistant to the elements and holds an edge like a professional skier on the downhill slalom. The handle features thick G-10 scales with zebra-like cutouts for a solid grip. For carry, the burly folder is equipped with a two-way pocket clip, anodized to match the liners.
Note: At checkout, choose between black G-10/gray liners, green G-10/rainbow liners, and green G-10/blue liners. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
