Looks like a hollow-ground clip point and a flat-ground spear point?
Does this one work as a from flipper or anything?

OmniseedI'm pretty sure the clip point is flat ground too, just not a full flat grind.

jtsknifelifeI'm sure you are right JT. It looks like you and I joined the Wakulla Drop, at about the same time. Which one are you after?

SteveMidwestOriginally the clip, but after seeing it on video I went to the spear point. I love Jernigan designs, been wanting this one for a while. Such a good price break too. How about you, clip or spear?

jtsknifelifeI ordered the clip-point. I wrestled with it, for a little bit. I too, love Steve Jernigan's work, and have all of his production/collaboration knives. This one got by me somehow, earlier. If I don't like my clip-point, as much as I thought I would. And you don't like your spear-point, as much as you thought you would. We'll just swap : - ) Do you want me to send you mine, so that you can do a side-by-side review, with them both?

SteveMidwestMan that's tempting, and I appreciate it, but seeing that the frames are identical and ergos will essentially be the same, I don't think it's neccesary. And I really wouldn't want you to have to part with your knife hahaha.
But again, I do appreciate the thought. Thanks very much!

jtsknifelifeYou are welcome JT. If you change your mine. Just let me know. I sure do look forward, to getting my hands on this Kizer/Steve Jernigan Wakulla Knife! It's just too bad, that we won't be able to, until around February 5th.

SteveMidwestThanks for sharing that. Would prefer a stronger detent, gravity deployment is too much of an issue for carrying in too many locations

KavikI do understand that. But when shopping for a flipper knife of this type. With a very small flipper tab. A weaker detent, is a must. A fair percentage of flipper knife buyers, complain about the tabs being too large, and banging into them, while going into their pocket for something else. This type of knife, is aimed at them.
Maybe, the Kizer Velox 2 will interest you? > https://youtu.be/NdCeIlyDZAA

SteveMidwestFair point, I hadn't thought about the size of the flipper on this one since I haven't held it yet
