Kizer Ki4501A1 Gunhammer Bowie Frame Lock Knife

Based on Darrel Ralph’s custom design, the Gunhammer bowie frame lock is a force to be reckoned with for demanding cutting tasks. The knife puts emphasis on the blade, which is a hulking 4-millimeter-thick, 3.5-inch-long chunk of S35VN stainless steel—arguably the best commercial blade steel available. Done in a bowie style, it makes quick work of piercing and slicing jobs. To prevent your hands from slipping in rain, muck, and grease, the handle is cut with aggressive grooves throughout, almost like scales on a snake. The titanium construction is both strong and relatively lightweight, considering the Gunhammer’s stout makeup. A protruding flipper provides a solid landing pad for a pointer finger flick, and it acts as a finger guard when the knife is open.
