Based on the custom Maddox, designed by Danish knifemaker Mikkel Willumsen, this production Kizer version is equally stout. Featuring a massive 3.9-inch blade, this hulking knife is apt for heavy-duty work of all kinds. The blade is crafted from corrosion resistant S35VN stainless steel that’ll hold a remarkable edge. The compound grind provides strength for piercing at the tip and more precision along the belly for slicing. Titanium makes up the handle, with a built-in frame lock to keep the blade from closing on you during strenuous tasks. Positioned at a slight angle, the knife facilitates a forward grip, allowing you to put extreme pressure behind the blade. The clip, which offers reversible carry on the right side, is anodized in blue to contrast the dark gray handle.
