Kizer Salient G-10 Fixed Blade Knife

Measuring nearly a foot long, this tactical fixed blade is built for heavy duty jobs. It takes its name from a word that means “noticeable” or “standing out,” which, looking at the design, is fitting. Boasting a 6.25-inch wide-bellied blade and a handle with multiple choils, the Salient isn’t exactly conventional. Here, the choils work together to provide a comfortable grip, no matter the task—and the grippy G-10 scales only make it easier to grasp when the going gets rough. The steel used on the blade is 1095, used in many fixed-blade outdoorsman’s knives. Though it does require regular cleaning, it holds a good edge through harsh cuts. Available in brown or green, the Salient comes with a Kydex sheath for convenient hip or belt carry.
