Ever since he saw the movie First Blood when he was just a kid, Ray Laconico knew what he wanted to do with his career: to become a knifemaker. Since officially taking up the trade in the 1990s, Laconico has developed a simple, clean, and functional style that shows through in each of his designs. The Kizer Vanguard G-10 Gemini fits the bill with its 3.1 inch drop-point made from high-carbon Japanese VG-10 steel. Equipped with a flipper tab and ball bearing system, the knife opens with ease. The skeletonized stainless steel liner, housed inside the G-10 scales, makes for secure lockup once opened. Carry it with the right-handed tip-up clip or tether it with the lanyard hole.
