Any good as a beer growler? Dumb(?) question: Will the insulation prevent this from being cooled on a fridge? (e.g. place it in fridge on Friday to keep it cool until Sat/Sunday) I guess it might insulate it during the first 12 or so hours, but will end up being cooled after some hours right?

H_COWI think the beer would be cold when it goes in the bottle so if you put it in the fridge, it shouldn't get any warmer than the fridge temperature. If the beer is warmer than the fridge, it might take longer to cool down.
Kleen Kanteen also make bail top growlers that have a wider mouth but they are not insulated. I have two and they're great.

Prefer the wide mouth version as it's easier to clean and get ice into/pour.

BleemoI am a Chico local (the city where these are made) been using them for years. They are phenomenal at keeping things warm and cold. But I would like to add being that they are made of metal they get dents and that can quickly ruin a bottle. I have had many klean kanteens that get dinged and bent to the point where they no longer stand up strait and wobble.
