nickaa827"mAh" or "milliAmpere hours" is a measure of stored energy or potential duration of current; this is used for battery capacities and other electric energy storage media. "mA" or "milliAmperes" is measure of current, used for output capacity of an energy source. Nothing wrong about your response, but you likely meant "mA" and not "mAh."
MiraColeNot sure what system you're running but temps will get pretty humid if it was mine.
Wouldn't it be better to have a dedicated power hub? You get much better efficiency and benefit from them.
ViraThe enclosure is well-ventilated and designed for that purpose. USB thumb drives use very little power and I only need the data connection, so the keyboard ports are sufficient. If I was using the USB ports for power or charging (like charging my phone/tablet), I would use an external A/C USB hub and wouldn't involve the computer at all. Charging a phone or tablet off a computer USB port is like filling a bathtub through a mcdonalds straw. Computer USB ports dont produce enough current to do anything meaningful.
ViraI have a 60W 5-port power-only hub that I use for charging my phones and tablet. If I need a data connection to the computer, I can plug them into the keyboard.
edit: I meant ma, not mah
