I've purchased this keyboard as a replacement for my G710+, I plug my mouse into the back of they keyboard, however I have concerns that 100mah is not enough to support my G502 Proteus Core. Also, can I remove the switches on this keyboard so I can replace them if I want? Thanks.

I mean technically, it would be possible to remove them, but you'd need to desolder them and solder the new switches in.

I have a G710+ as well! I love that board, I'm typing to you on it right now! haha. How do you like the new board, noticeable differences, just aesthetics? The G710+ is a pretty great board actually.

m0arpheusI love it, the Kalih switches are a big improvement over the the Cherry switches on the G710. For me, it feels much nicer to type on. A lot more clicky than the Cherry switches, it's also nice playing games on it, as I can feel the response in-game much quicker than on the G710. And of course, the aesthetics are a big improvement.

The vast majority of people don't prefer Kailh over Cherry, but what bothers me more than that is the sentence that follows. You absolutely do not "feel" a better response time with this board over your G710. No keyboard has, or even claims to have, better response time because all lag from keyboards was eliminated many, many years ago. Even if there was a difference, there is literally no possible way you would be able to feel it, as it would be less than 1ms.

Boskrshhh, let him enjoy his kailh's and rgb and "gamer" keyboards. If he's happy he doesn't have to buy a nice keyboard.
