Quick question for those of you who have owned or at least tried these speakers before. I'm coming from a Z313, and I absolutely hated how the connector from the subwoofer to the control unit to the speakers was not detachable. Caused me a lot of headaches over the few years I used it.
Do you know if this set has detachable wires? Is everything proprietary?

el_mechacontextFirst thing that went on Mine after about 5 years. I replaced them and ended up having a lot of problems with blown fuses in the sub. I'm sure it was easily fixed by ordering the correct fuse online but I opted to try one from a local hardware store and didn't have any luck so I ended up giving them to my cousin. Last I knew, he is still using them to this day (my original order of them was through Alienware (before dell)).
