Lol. Another Massdrop drop that isn't a deal. This site is going down hill.
This is a nice ENTRY level setup for your PC or whatever you want to plug it into. ENTRY!!! But not at this price. Wait for it to go on sale at Best Buy.
SightUpFigure this site out better, there are some that are good deals FOR YOU, there are some that are not, often these are deals in foriegn locations, or ANYWHERE you would need to have it shipped to BAM deal on shipping. You really dont get the idea of how many different types of vendors they are getting on here to provide more opportunities so that YOU can find a good deal FOR YOU in the future.
Massdrop keeps getting better.
SightUpTo comment on everyone who nay'd say'd me, quit being fanboys of this site and look at it for what it really is.
It SOMETIMES has good deals, and that sometimes is becoming rarer and rarer. But I stand by what I originally said that this site is going down hill. Sure, good deals for you, but that means Best Buy has good deals for you, too because Massdrop is selling them for $10 dollars more than what Best Buy has them for on sale. That being the case, why would you buy from Massdrop and wait 2-3 months for something to arrive at your house when you can drive down to Best Buy or even order them at www.bestbuy.com and get them delivered the next day with free shipping? You know Massdrop most of the time requires you to pay shipping too right? I am just confused in what scenario this is a good deal.... FOR ANYONE!!! Hell, even Walmart sells these things. We will not even go into the issue of the hassle of trying to return something to Massdrop...
Of course Klipsch is a great company. They do make high quality products. But you cannot sit there and tell me that this 2.1 setup is high end, and not low end, when you compare it to a Schiit Stack with two Emotiva or something similar that you spent some real money on. It is entry... Don't get me wrong. These aren't the 5w speakers you get at a gas station that have LED lights on them. They sound great. But, you are spending only 150 on them. Realize that. They aren't high end. Klipsch high end cost thousands. To say these sound the same as those, that's just ignorant.
Stop being fanboys and identify what is really what.
SightUpI'm no fanboy, I'm very upset with Massdrop for a few things, just not over the fact that every single deal isn't the best in the world. Of course sometimes it makes sense to order somewhere else, does a store have to literally be the only place you ever have to shop to meet your standards?
"Entry level Klipsch" well, yes, by definition that's true, as they only make a few different models and these are the cheapest. But you originally said entry level speakers, which these aren't, entry level/lowend speakers cost like $15.
TelFiREYes, I said that. But I also did not think I would have to iterate that and thought people would know what I was talking about. Of course I am not talking about $15 dollar speakers when I say entry.
You have no idea what a neckbeard is. I have a shaved neck, but a glorious full beard that you are jealous as fuck of.
And you are an annoying kid who can't even grow a beard so instead constantly asks super duper easy to google questions in Discord, a few of which I have helped you out with. So yeah, you can sort of imagine what kind of value your opinion holds to me.
TelFiREI am going to start off by saying sorry. I shouldn't be making fun of you. Even if it isn't a neck beard, it totally looks like one in your picture. I am going to remove it because it's just not relevant to this. But what is, is you continue to respond just to argue. That is evident through you being a creep, searching me on Google, and bringing up what I ask about on Reddit which is also not relevant.
I won't even bring up the specs of the actual speaker setup because just on paper they aren't even that great and would be trampled over. You stated you agreed with me. You didn't agree with me what so ever. So I don't know what you're talking about. This are entry. Given, entry is an ambiguous term. But suffice it to say, a person with any kind of income, this shouldn't be looked at. This is true no matter how you choose to look at it and despite how many or how few setups that Klipsch has to offer. This is something a person ignorant on the subject of speakers, like a mom gets their 13 year old who plays Minecraft on their LED ridden PC, would purchase. This shouldn't be the end game want when it comes to speakers. No one here should be spending 15 dollars on a speaker setup. So that argument moot. You can easily spend a few thousand dollars on a speaker setup with very little trouble. In the grand scheme of an entry level speaker setup, DAC, Amp, speakers, you should be looking at spending 500 to 1000 dollars.
The whole point of my original post is that Massdrop is supposed to be cheaper than all of the rest of the stores. That is the point of this site. This isn't a site where I should really need to consider what is a cheaper price else where. It's a group buy where we comes together, Massdrops acts as a middle man, gives the manufacturer a guaranteed buy, and the savings are supposed to be passed on to the customer. This sale, among the vast majority of other sales on this site, do not benefit the customer in this way.
And with that, I walk away from this as not only am I beating a dead horse, the but there isn't even calcium left in the bones.
SightUpSearching you on google? What? I just recognize you from Discord..
Anyway Massdrop doesn't exist just to be cheaper. That's just not a good expectation.
SightUpSight up says entry level 2.1 is 500-1000 dollars, what a laugh!!! And the famed klipsch 2.1 setup he says is entry level AGAIN incorrectly: "This are entry. Given, entry is an ambiguous term. But suffice it to say, a person with any kind of income, this shouldn't be looked at. This is true no matter how you choose to look at it and despite how many or how few setups that Klipsch has to offer. Obvious troll is obvious, just trying to insult anyone spending less than 500, if you want to overspend that much on entry level you certainly dont need to use massdrop. Meanwhile Klipsch 2.1 speakers are still quite good for many music types and are definitely above entry level 2.1 speakers. All this being sort of irrelevant to the original confusion of why certain things go on sale on massdrop at certain prices, and seeing how much sightup has gone troll mode on telfire I'd assume he isnt trying to understand.
