michael_areWould you recommend these over the Logitech z625? I have the 625 but am looking to get another set for my other computer.

Apple2456A cursory google search and some reading leads me to believe that although your Logitech set are okay, this set are better and cheaper. It might be worth doing some more research and then deciding if these look like a good idea.

Apple2456I don't have experience with the Logitech speakers you mentioned, but I would recommend Klipsch over Logitech any day of the week. Logitech is not a speaker company. They are largely a keyboard and mouse company. Klipsch on the other hand, has been making high-quality loudspeakers since the 1940s. Audio is their world and they do it very well.

Not quite. These NEWER lightweight units (WITHOUT the ON/OFF switch at the rear) are NOT made by Klipsch, but by Audiovox in China, which is not a company renowned for its quality.
The OLDER heavy units - about 10+ years old (WITH the ON/OFF switch at the rear), were made by Klipsch, and that's why this model has such a great reputation.
But the older model's quality has NOT been carried over to the newer Audiovox-sourced current model.
