DinerenblancOhms is not the only factor that influences output power - Sensitivity is far more important. Comparing, for example, my t-JAYS 16 Ohm, 98dB, with these Klipsch 50 Ohm, 110dB, that's 12 dB more sensitivity, which = 16 x more Power, which far more than offsets the higher impedance.
