charliegrcIt's all relative man. Compared to a $4200 EC 445 amp this is an additional 5%, compared to a $10k HeadAmp BHSE and Stax Sr-009 combo it's cheap, and compared to a $500k turntable/preamp/amp/power conditioner/speaker setup this is literally rounding error. Heck, there was a picture on /r/audiophile of 1 million bucks worth of MacIntosh gear tri-amping speakers, probably cost more than the house it was located in. When the rest of your system is worth more than most people in the world will make this year, it's easy to justify a "small" purchase like a fancy headphone stand.

charliegrcYou didn't post your five questions.
Ask away, however.

smitty1110If you can justify spending over $200 on holding headphones, as a "rounding error" relative to your audio system, how can you justify trying to get up to $70 discount by buying on Massdrop? I.e. this is an even smaller "rounding error", why would you care?

sto7It might get under some people's "impulse buy" threshold.

sto7I think your point is very valid, it does not really make that much sense. However I simply don't think that is how Massdrop is making sales. It is just a collection of hip looking things for hip seeming people.
