I have been waiting on a better price for the hammock pad, which, I understand, helps give form to the bottom of your hammock, as well as making the hammock camping functionally 3, maybe even 4 seasons, depending on whether one purchases the insulated version or not.
The best price I've seen on Amaz*n was $149. That went back up within a month. R3I wants more than Amaz*n. As do many other vendors. I'll be buying the insulated version. I'm from Red Deer, Alberta CA originally, and I like the idea of being able to extend my black-fly proof hammocking a bit further into the Autumn there, when I head up for Canuckie walkabout.
