I agee, definitely does not fit in line with the ultralight theme. Great company and love their sleeping pads, but their bags leave something to be desired in the area of weight.

keeterjHave any recommendations for lighter bags that would be good in these temperatures?? This is exactly the temperature rating I'm looking for, and this seems fairly light and decently priced!

MrCallahanwww.pajaksport.pl/sklep/wyprzeda/hit.html It's cheaper... two times cheaper, and lighter. And -10 as well.

mykupykuChecked that Pajaksport bag out because it sounded good. The website lists 3 ratings: "+12 -2 -10 [C] EN13537"
I'm assuming they're in order of: Comfort rating, Minimum Rating, and Extreme Rating.
Which translates to: Comfort rating: Warm enough to sleep in down to this temperature. Minimum rating: You'll probably wake up a little bit cold a few times during the night but you wont catch a cold(illness) down to this temperature. Extreme: You'll be cold, not able to sleep but you'll he a hair warm above catching hypothermia down to this temperature.
It's also said that Comfort rating is for Women and Minimum is for Men, but everyone's body mass and temperature moderation is different.
Many sleeping bag companies put the minimum rating in the title of their sleeping bag and the uninformed casual consumer assumes that would be a comfort rating ie. 'I'll be warm in this bag down to this temperature' which is totally reasonable to assume. But it does catch a lot of people out.
