Costco has V2 with the pillow for $50. I'm not sure about shipping for Costco, but your local Costco may carry them in store as I have seen them occasionally.

I have an older version, same R value, as well as the ultralight version. These are incredible for the price you pay, assuming you get them on sale and don't pay full retail. Some things you need to consider is the sound that these make. I personally don't mind the sound, but others absolutely hate it and compare it to crumbling a bag of chips. These are great for 3 seasons, but if you need something for the cold, definitely look elsewhere or get the insulated version.
For at least where I live, the product is $53.35. The only problem is that it's only $10~ or so more on Amazon for me.... If you want to save, do buy it here but keep in mind, you are paying, for shipping/lag time....
I'm 6'4", 220 lbs, and a side sleeper. This was my first proper sleeping pad. I used this pad on a canoe trip, sleeping on sand banks and wooden platforms. It was great. I was pleasantly surprised at how firm I could make it, without it loosing any firmness while sleeping on my side and back, without ever feeling the ground/platform underneath. I also like that my feet and head weren't hanging off either end.
I camp in the south where it doesn't get that cold, so I'm not concerned with the insulating factors, and can't say how well it works for that.
its not very comfortable it better to just go with a thermarest
Higgins
I've not used a Thermarest as I'm too cheap. But I've slept on my side on both a wood tent platform and concrete with a Klymit v2 and been very comfortable. If you over-inflate it won't be too comfortable. My son who is in the Scouts has now decided he wants to use my v2. He was using my old blue foam. That's ok as I picked up the Massdrop EE quilt a few months ago and need the insulated version.

i also own one and i've found the thurmarest to be quite a bit more comfortable also you can find them on ebay or at garage sales for quite cheep
Is the shipping so expensive because massdrop is shipping these pads fully inflated? Well I suggest you deflate them first?
Meh deal, the V1 is like $20.

I paid $68 for one of these at REI and it was worth every penny. I use it in a two man bick packing tent or when I'm riding solo I use it in my eno. Note there is no insulation in this pad so you will be cold sleeping on th efround if it's in the 50-60 range. I use a 40 degree sleeping bag. Aynwan, I love this pad so musch that I just partisapated in the MassDrop for the insulated version.
Love mine. Got it through massdrop about 5 mo ago. Long. Wide. Light enough. Great price. It has only an R factor of 1.3 so not for cold weather. Loved it so much I bought a Klymit insulated light with an R factor of 4.4, but the narrower one (20 inches wide at the top and maybe 18 inches at the bottom. Weighs in at 15 oz. Great backpacking pad when you need the insulation.
I suggest purchasing the youth size. It compacts smaller plus my calves and feet don't realize something's missing.

I agree.
Shipping & Handling for $21.50. Is way to expensive
Campsaver.com has the Static V1 in a custom blue color for $35 as part of a sale right now.

$49.99 with pillow on Costco.com right now. Including shipping.
I need a longer version. Bummer.

I need to measure mine, I distinctly remember it being at least as long as I am tall, if not longer, I'm 6'4". I bought mine from REI, and looked up my purchase history just to be sure, and even there it says it's 72". I've used it for a 2-night trip and it was great. I'm 220 lbs and a side sleeper.
I have the original Swiss cheese XL model. I ended up using it inside my bag as I camp in a hammock, and if they are under your bag, you wake up with the pillow and foot sticking over the hammock ends. On my last campout, last weekend, getting in my bag, I accidentally slid my foot into one of the Swiss cheese holes, and it tore and deflated instantly. I had a cold night after that, and need to call monday. If I'm not covered, I think I I'll be done with them. I already had a valve issue, which they solved by sending me a brand new pad. I'm hoping I get covered, so I can feel good about joining this drop for my gal.I If they don't warranty that, I'm done with them. Osprey will replace my pack if it falls in the campfire and I just have a shoulder strap left, I hope Klymit has a similar policy!
Just as an FYI, Costco had this plus the pillow for ~50 in April and I bought one there. If you are a Costco member it's worth a look.

Just checked Costco price, $59.99 for V2 w/X Pillow. Includes shipping. Thanks for sharing this info. Still cheaper at Costco w/pillow.
I haven't seen any comments about how noisy it is. Does it make crinkling sounds like my Thermarest NeoAir Xlite?
I move around a lot at night, and the noise from the Thermarest seems very loud in the dead of night.
frekin
I have two of these and have not had any trouble with noise. I was actually very impressed with the overall comfort and I tend to be a light sleeper.
Will you drop a longer version of any klymit sleeping pad?
Can anyone share the differences between the V2 and the original pad please? I've tried to find comparisons but nothing seems to clearly list the differences.
TimU
The original pad is heavier by a few oz, actual weight 18.9. It has the same heavier fabric on top and bottom.
TimU
The Static V2 has a lighter weight 30 Denier fabric on the top side only vs the 75 Denier on both sides of the Static V.

$35 on Amazon... Not much of a drop!
aames
I see it listed as $50+ on Amazon...?

Amazon prices move regularly; camelcamelcamel is useful to track it. The klymit static v is 50, lowest was 35 - 2 days ago.
Can I buy the pillow by itself?
Vibeee
The Pillow does come up in it's own drop, I purchased one last time around.
Would love to see a drop/option for the insulated version of this
madllama
So would we! We should have the Insulated Static V Lite available later this month. We have been working with Klymit to offer the insulated version but they've been too low on stock recently. Thanks for waiting @madllama

If you want something shorter, there's a junior size.
