Are these the grenadine or the knit ties? The colours here seem to resemble the knits on the knottery site

I got the navy one. And actually I think the color is closer to the photo on Knottery's website. It's a pretty dark navy.

DJ_PsyOpThanks, just got them - your tip was bang on, the navy and brown are closer to the knottery photos than the ones here. Love 'em

Just to weigh in here on customer service, but with the caveat I have not ordered from them for a while. I've placed at least 3 or 4 orders with them in the past directly and never had an issue.

Unfortunately I'll have to skip this drop again until we get the option for a wider (9cm) tie.

Just got my black tie last night. It looks great, although it's my first grenadine tie, and it seems weird to me that the tip is essentially see through. Is this normal for grenadine ties?

The_PlantThis is normal for an untipped tie. When the fabric is doubled at the end tip of the tie, it is called a tipped tie. In this case, this is an untipped tie and the nature of the loose weave Grenadina makes it see through. It adds a fun, casual-ness to the tie.

suitsandspinesI figured, based on the description, but thank you for the reply!

Interested to know the outcomes of some of these conversations. This is my first time participating in a drop, and the updates about trying to get the orders together feel like par for the course based on these experiences. @Ortdavid were you able to get satisfaction?

KokothefirstMy order did arrive a month and two days after I placed it. I'd like to be charitable and chalk it up to their website being redesigned, but I didn't receive replies to any of my emails in the interim.
I should stress again that this problem was not related to a Massdrop order. I like my Knottery tie that I got from Massdrop and that's why I placed the order -- which caused so many headaches -- directly with the vendor.

Hi Ian,
How thick is the interlining? Any chance for a DFIH knot?
farhadIt's a medium thickness on the interlining. A single four in hand produces a great dimpled knot.

KnotteryJayThanks for your reply, Jay. Unfortunately, tie will be too long for me with a FIH knot (I'm 5'7").

I live in Europe. If I join the drop, will the tie be shipped from Italy to the US, then back to Europe?

My ties arrived with deep wrinkles/creases in them. Any tips on getting those out without ruining the ties?

JCrukA light steam or iron as follows: Put a clean light cloth between your iron and the tie and GENTLY press. You don't want to press like you're ironing a shirt as you'll push the shape out of these. Alternatively, if you've got the time just let them hang and things may be good to go
