Please open a Canadian branch of your website like other large sites eventually do. Your international shipping rates and the customs charges are outrageous and seem to only be getting worse. MASSDROP.CA PLEASE!

Does the weight include straps and baskets? Are the straps removeable? Thanks!

46$ shipping to Canada? Even if this is correct, please advise why this shipping is so high (i.e., insurace, packaging, fragility?)

I will say that, for the items I ordered, the typical shipping cost is around 10$. I dont think thats crazy, my complaint was about this specific item.

Ummm, $62US shipping to Australia? Must not be as light as they claim! Completely wipes out any saving!

Komperdell's line-up can be a bit bewildering.  The C2 has been around a long time, and has evolved.  Here's an early review: https://backpackinglight.com/komperdell_c2_carbon_tour_duolock_review/
The locking mechanism is improved, the pole section diameters (I think) are each now about 2 mm larger (stiffer), and the grip/ribbed foam section is better.  They don't pack down very small, but, in use, have a wider range of adjustment, 110 -145 cm, break down to 42.5" (Is this correct?) vs 120-145 cm adjustment range, break down to 18", for, for example, the Komperdell Ultralight Vario 4 (also carbon).
I've broken the carbon fiber lowest section twice on earlier Vario 4's (on the current version, that section is now aluminum), once for no obvious reason, once because I was in a small rock avalanche of rain-wet shingle, and both times I was able to keep hiking for several days, with the broken carbon fiber tube end doing surprisingly well as a pole tip.  Both times Komperdell was prompt and gracious with their warranty replacement.

swimjayThanks for the review swimjay. You're certainly right about Komperdell's lineup. Lots of slight variations available for each model line.

Just to clarify, this is for two poles, but the 6.2 Oz weight is for one, so total weight is 12.4 oz?

I feel like Massdrop is working overtime to discourage Canadians from purchasing their wares.
