I plan to listen to these after a reasonable break-in period. I also will run a set of measurements on KEMAR so that I have a set of electroacoustic data to go with my impressions. I've data on everything from the Bose QC35 and other BT headphones to the BSR IEMs from DAK Industries. So far my favorite IEM is the Advantage M3 and my favorite BT noise canceling earphone is the Bose QC 35, I am still looking for my favorite supra aural wired earphone as all that I have looked at so far are either bass deficient, overly bright, have muddied mids, or fail to play cleanly and high levels. I still have a set of Koss Pro 1000 phones on their third set of earpads and an original Yamaha HP1 from the 1970s that I like and still use as a reference earphone. In fact, the new Yamaha 300s sound very much like the HP1 earphones, but have better sensitivity and are easier to drive from sources such as smart phones. At present, I am driving all of those phones with a LH Labs Geek Out DAC/headphone amp as it allows me to play files from CD Redbook to DSD and has to outputs for low and high sensitivity phones. If only it didn't run at 150 degrees F.
SoundDocWhere is all this measurement data you mention? Do you have it on a website?

SlowCousinPeteI have an unpopulated website. It should be up and running by late spring along with the measurement data. I am taking a medical leave of absence between next week and the first of April. I'll be working on the website during that time. Right now I am setting up WordPress pages for the review of each 'phone.
Thanks

SoundDocBTW I don't think any break-in is necessary, they sound fantastic out of the box

SlowCousinPeteYes, they do sound great out of the box. However, I have already, after less than 50 hours of play, noticed the highs starting to mellow. The extreme high notes of the piano are starting to sound cleaner. Drum brushes are starting to sound more like brushes and less like white noise. So, I won't be surprised to find a difference when I get around to testing them. Those tests, BTW, will be at least 60 days from now as I have spent the last 45 days hospitalized.
