Quick comments on these:
I got in on the first drop and I'm getting a second set for my work. First they work perfectly for calls on my cell phone (Android), watching videos/movies on the laptop. They're harder to drive than earbuds and some other lightweight headphones in this size/shape but any cell phone can drive them to extremes. This works a little better for use with laptops though, you can get the volume slightly higher than most easy to drive phones.
The depth is so good on these, I plugged them in to my laptop and adjusted the volume. I thought the headphones wasn't picked up by the laptop because I swear it sounds like the laptop making the sound when you adjust the volume... but deeper and richer sounding than the speaker. I take the headphones off and do the volume increase again to find out it was in the headphones after all.
Gaming: These worked directly plugged into my XBOX 1 controller. Both in-game audio, mixed with multiplayer chat, and best of all unlike most headphones with the inline mic, these actually have very clear and clean sounding microphone. No odd sounding distant mic type sound, or echo. People on the other side wouldn't know that I'm not using a headset mic (that reaches closer to your mouth).
Highly recommend them. Only downside really is the cheap feeling build. It's held up fine so far for the two months I've had them. For $20 they're worth every dollar. GET EM!!
