I've seen these go for much cheaper on Amazon in the past guys...imho this really isn't a great deal.

ani.kalsiHave to disagree, if these are not a counterfeit product of the PortaPros. Nowadays, the possibility of getting a rip-off is quite certain, as their are flooding not only online auctions sites like ebay, but trustable dealers like Amazon itself. Had a brief chat with a the retailer of my trust and could convince myself several times, that the PortaPro, at least in Europe, are counterfeited. So, if these are most likely orignial products, that will be a nice offer to go with. Either you go probably with a fake or you by them for about 70 bucks by your local store. c(: Although, they are not the state of the art, as they used to be back in the 80s. In addition, these like to rip your hairs off. Imo, there are better values out their, even though the bass heavy and dark signature of the headphones may still appeal to many people. So, if you are on the hunt on some easy to carry, durable (Gave these as a present to my girlfriend, and she prefers to eat those headphones, which did not happen till this day for about an year), thumpy headphones for the everyday use, go ahead, you can not regret this buy. If these are not for you, simple sell them or gave them away. Cheers.
