I own the Brunton branded version of this Kovea stove and use it for small group cooking, as a third burner for larger groups, and as my primary car camping/hiking stove. It is a good compromise between the pocketrocket style isobutane stoves (designed to quickly boil water for 1-2 people) and the two burner Coleman style propane stoves. It simmers well and is easier to pack as it comes with a nice case that holds the maintenance kit and tools.
It is more flexible than my whisperlight as it runs on whitegas, isobutane, and (with adapters) propane and butane without needing to change its setup. Since I'm not locked into one type of fuel or canister, I have used whitegas/adapted butane for baking and long simmers, then grabbed a 100g canister and gone on a day hike. It is also an all season stove because of the flexibility of fuel options.
Beware though, it is much louder than the other stoves listed above. I wound up purchasing a quietstove adapter to tame the volume to reasonable levels.
