Made of aluminum with a durable hard anodizing coat, the Kovea Solo Pot is a great size for 1 to 2 campers. The insulating on the handles provide extra grip, the handles fold away for compact storage and the lid doubles as a fry pan Read More
Used this for the first time on a 2 night backpacking trip in the mountains.
Pros:
Very light and doesn't take up much space in the pack, the stove doesn't rattle around as it fits snugly in the foam. I was able to fit a fuel canister into the pot as well, so it was great to have everything in one compact package. Easy to set up and use. The included pots are easy to clean.
Cons:
Doesn't boil water as quickly as the JetBoil stoves (but the JetBoils take up more space in the pack), takes about 3 minutes. One of the times I used it, the gas didn't flow from one portion of the stove, but it seemed to clear itself after about 15 seconds and resumed normal operation.
Overall I'm happy with this stove due to its small weight and compact nature and ease of setup.

SandyKeoThanks for sharing the link to Hikin' Jim's review of the Kovea Supalite Stove, @SandyKeo. He's a genuinely nice guy who happens to have a passion for stoves. I've met with him at various BPL gatherings and he has easily over 200 stoves, and can probably tell you about each and every one!
mthayr@mthayr - a 4 oz or 8 oz standard fuel canister fits into the pot, on top of the stove and foam holder. The narrow-diameter fuel canisters (like JetBoil) would probably fit as well, but not snuggly.
