if you read the very hard to read fine print in the pressure cooker, you’ll see that it is rated for a maximum 900 watt machine. I have not yet figured out the right settings to get it to work. At 80% power, the food (rice) did not cook. At 90% power the safety valve popped out spewing starchy water all over the microwav. I may eventually figure out the secret but not yet.

tomboisdarcThat's because microwaves don't operate at partial power. If you change the powerlevel to 5 out of 10, it will only cook your food 50% of the time. Not at half power. 10 seconds on, followed by 10 seconds 'off'. It keeps spinning, but it won't be microwaving your food at all during the 'off' cycle.
