I got my KZ ZS6 from another source since I don't want to get hit by custom from Massdrop.
After 1 week of listening I can say these lives up to the hype and they are very solid performer with their price point. Out of the box there are some issues that can be remedied by using different tip (Comply foam or Spin-fit), you can also use aluminum tape to tape off the vent to get better bass for your own liking.
I do have another multi BA IEM that cost 10x more (Turbo Ear T7A, 6BA+1DD), comparing them side by side, the KZ ZS6 is like an unpolished gem, they have potential but if you listened to higher end stuff then you'd probably notice the difference and say this is OK for the price. And I am not saying they are bad, I am using the ZS6 as a daily beater at work and everywhere I go, but when I am home I will use the more refined T7A.

fallenmigYes. they are very good for everyday carry. Wont hurt much even if you lose it. For that purpose it isvery worth it. Better with comply tip to tame the highs.
I do have Shure Se846, Westone UMPro 50 and Sennheiser IE80.
IE80 used to be my daily driver but this is also not bad.

fallenmigHow about the size -- photos make them look large. I need something on the smaller size for a good fit.

hatmanyes it is on the bigger size. If you are looking for something that would disappear in your ears and sounds good, try westone iems. And you will love their EPIC cables too.

hatmanThey're actually NOT that big, especially compared to something like KZ ZS10. The Bore size though IS large, which is what I think makes them look larger with no other reference. The large bore size is something some will need to pay attention to, it causes ear fatigue for me within an hour, depending on activity, the movement of bore against ear. When they're inserted though the face of the iem doesn't protrude out of my ear like ZS10.

GreatsoulsThe ZS10 is superior sound wise in almost every way. But the fit and build goes to the ZS6. There are instances the ZS6 sound better, both have excellent sound stage (ZS6 is better), there's some sibilance with ZS6, they're fun for sure, there's something going on with the vocals though, forward but grainy? tough to pinpoint. Can be distracting. But well worth the price.

GreatsoulsZS10 more laid back sounding while the ZS6 is more analytical. I've own 3 sets of ZS6 and am absolutely in love with them.
ZS6 build and fit is why I like it more then ZS10. They are in the same league so I would not say one is better then another. Only difference is one excels in different sound region. Soundstage is about same but ZS6 edges bit more.
