Made by Laban, a longtime producer based in Taipei, the Monte Rosa Fountain Pen stands out for the playful pattern on its enamel body, accented by gleaming chrome. The stainless steel nib features an engraving of the company’s logo beneath delicate filigree. Also appointed with an engraved logo, the screw-on cap is equipped with a pocket clip, and can be posted while the pen is in use.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of nib sizes in between Fine, Medium, and Broad. Laban is the creation of brothers John and Charles Hu, whose passion for quality pens inspired their first line of silver and rhodium writing instruments, released in 1981. By 1993, the company had gone global; by 1997, it was the exclusive producer of pens for the Vatican Museum in Rome; and in 2004, it won the Lewis & Clark Award for Best Writing Instrument.
