The Lamy 2000 Black Amber is a special edition of the highly regarded fountain pen designed by Gerd A. Müller, an influential advocate of the Bauhaus movement. Made of stainless steel with a warm satin gray finish, it’s complete with silver trim and a spring-mounted metal clip. The postable snap-on cap opens to reveal a rhodium-plated 14-karat-gold nib, and the large-capacity piston filling mechanism is ideal for using with bottled ink. Each pen is individually numbered out of 5,000 available worldwide.
Note: Along with the fountain pen, you’ll get a Filofax A5 notebook and two bottles of LAMY Pacific ink—a special color for 2017. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of nib size (extra-fine, fine, or medium) and notebook color (black or gold). This drop is limited to 18 sets. LAMY products can only be shipped within the US.
The Filofax A5 notebook features four colorful dividers, a ruler, and a small batch of refill pages—all of which are movable, so you can place them throughout the notebook as you see fit. Designed to lay flat and fold flat for easy access to every part of the page, the notebook contains 56 movable sheets of lined paper between a flexible, spiral-bound cover. The twin wire binding is mostly concealed by the leatherette spine. You’ll even find a pocket on one of the dividers for storing business cards and loose leaves.
