this is a lot for this pen rack, I've seen other at a very much less price and very nice choice of woods and shapes as well. The pride were under $80 dollars american made. The pen rack would hold up to 8 pens and you put the side of hole you want for your pens. He does have cubes that hold 6 pens that can hold large pens the pen rack will not scratch or Mark up your pens. Ok ow it takes a lot of work making these pen rack the right way and the
material used as well. I don't think it's that high a bit but it depends on her labor and the cost for her material as well. No I didn't buy one yet. I am a pen reviewer and I do pens, inks, notebooks, messanger bags, men's packs and many other products, so I may buy this rack and do a review. I usually get these products from the seller to do a review and share the products and I give a honest review on them. I spen many hrs up to weeks at time yo get the right presentation for the product. But who knows I may get one and I hope it's all I've head being a Worth wel prod to purchase . Larry's Fountain Pens
larry0711Hi Larry,
I appreciate your comments. As the maker of these stands I can assure you the price is good. We sell them on our regular site for $145 and $110 is great price. Considering the cost for just the ebony legs are over $8 and the wood for the base of the stands is over $20 then you have upwards of 2 hours to make and ship.
Hope you join in and look forward to reading your comments once you see the actual item.
I spend a lot of time sanding and shapeing the stands which you don't really appreciate until its on your desk in front of you.
Best Regards, Jim
WoodMasterJim, I believe you sir a lot of man hrs are involved and the material you use is not cheap. I plan on getting one, so I need to save up for one. I do pen reviews use to work but due to health iusses I had to stop. But when I get one I will do a review on it, and I will give the history and where my viewers can buy your ink stand from.
Yours Truly
Larry
