zoomorphActually, Ebony is very expensive. Each leg would run $2. There about $15 in wood and over 1 hour in labor which is need to cut, shape and polish.
Hey everyone -- I wanted to share a photo from Lanier's website, which shows the 1-Pen stand being used to hold a cap. This is actually a design that came from a repeat Lanier pen buyer's request to have a place to rest a pen cap to avoid losing it on a desk.
These look really nice and would seem perfect for my desk, but the black legs really clash with the rest of the wood finish.
Maybe if I had the funds closer to the end of the drop...
romeviHey @romevi, thanks to your comments we have great news for everyone.
We passed this information on to Jim Lanier and he made a special offer for the community:
He can make the legs from the same wood that you select for the shelves (primary surfaces).
I've added that option at check-out. Anyone who joined previously will have the standard ebony legs as the default, but is welcome to edit your transaction and select Matching instead.
Thanks for making this possible - special offers like this are only possible because you ask!
