😁 thanks for pointing out my ignorance. I wonder how the diamonds hold up vs the stones, and whether they provide a better edge.

How F'n dull is the knife if it takes an hour or two to sharpen??? The only thing I've spent that much time on is a rusted axe.
I rarely even need to use a sharpening stone kit, as I just periodically touch up a knife with a honing steel before use. Which takes maybe 30 - 60 seconds...

CrashNBurnEver catch a few hundred panfish between a dozen people and need to clean them all? And any serious knife work outdoors or in the kitchen will cause some serious sharpening to be required at some very soon point in the future.
