I got a set of these about a year back. Seemed like a good idea: it wasn't.
You can wind your cables in. You cannot half unwind them. This means that when you take cable out, you've got to store the windy thingy somewhere until you need it again. will not help with clutter caused by things in use. Will not help if you walked away from where you unwound your cable without the recoiler. Also, if you are using with a set of phone earbuds with integrated microphone/remote there is decent chance your cable will not coil past the mic block(Had this issue with Samsung set, but not with another brand who's name I cannot remember).
I concluded this was basically useless; If your cable is long enough to use with this, you can just coil the cable into itself.
