The central structure and all of the attached tools are made from 420HC stainless steel, a highly durable material that’s made even more wear resistant by Leatherman’s heat treatment. While some of the tools can be unleashed without opening the main body, all of the tools feature locking mechanisms and can be operated with only one hand.

Packed into 4” when closed, the Leatherman Wave multi-tool features needlenose pliers, regular pliers, hard-wire cutters, wire cutters, a wire stripper, a 420HC knife, a 420HC serrated knife, a saw, spring-action scissors, a ruler, a can opener, a bottle opener, a file, a diamond-coated file, a large bit driver, a small bit driver, and a medium screwdriver for a grand total of 17 tools in stainless steel. Complete with a leather sheath with a snap closure and a side pocket.
