The dotted pages give you the freedom to use those books in the way you want. And the numbered pages are one of the biggest advantages against other competitors, since they look much more professional than (my) handwritten numbers.
Finally found a journal that's easier to write with (as I am left-handed). My fountain pen writes really well on the paper with no feathering (Pilot Metropolitan, M nib + Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue ink). I like the little pouch at the back. Can be useful for storing receipts or business cards if you wish. I'd recommend, and I'd definitley buy again.
I have several Leuchtturm notebooks and I love them. The only drawback for me is the elastic band, it loses its spring very quickly, but that might have to do with the very humid climate over here.
I really like these journals, and will most likely sign up for the next drop. They are a perfect size, (about 5in by 8in) and have enough pages to be useful. I also like that they have true hard covers, not just a piece of stiff paper on the front and back. The paper is thick enough to not bleed through when I used my fountain pens. The envelope in the back is a nice bonus, but I would buy it even without the envelope. The fact that the pages are numbered makes it easy to fill in the table of contents in the front. I use these for all my work-related notes.
