just recieved my pen and ink. Loaded up the Amethyst and was absolutely amazed with how smooth the pen was and how vibrant the ink. This may edge out my Mont Blanc as my favourite pen.

Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the Levenger Carbon F Fountain pen shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at the vendor’s location, they will send the bulk shipment to our fulfillment center where we’ll break it up into individual orders and ship them off to you as soon as possible.
The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you all with updated information on the status of your package.

Are the nibs on these pens able to be swapped out?
Update: I spoke with Levenger customer care and they confirmed that the nib is not swappable.

I've heard really bad things about their nibs (with the exception of the stub, which costs a great deal more and isn't an option)...does anyone know how this would compare to a mediocre nib like the TWSBI (which is pretty fair for a steel nib)?

Ooh, goodie. I'd been looking at picking one of these up already. Joined for sure on a black one, plus a commit on an ocean if it gets to $75. Looking forward to this!

Sweet. I love the Levenger Truewriter - hopefully this pen holds up to, or exceeds, the Truewriter in quality and feel. I am also a BIG fan of the Levenger Inks too, so I am glad to see that bundled in. (Does the ink come in the gift box, or will it be loose bottles?)

Both of these ink sets will ship in gift boxes, as pictured in the shot of Perennial inks.

ironhelixxOn a separate note: don't let the carbon fiber exterior fool you! This pen is definitely not a featherweight - it's much heftier than any True Writer made of resin. My personal preference is for a more substantial body like this, and I was very impressed with the fit and finish, but I saw your comparison and wanted to make sure you were aware of the relative weights.
