Levenger Cordova Stanley Journal

Even though the drop failed, if I have followed the purchase option, will I still get my journal? I still have it on my transaction page, so I am uncertain whether that means that they will cancel my purchase or not. Short: I would like to have the journal please.

Would you then recommend a journal which is both pleasing like this journal while also having a standard size? The journal size (as mentioned in the description) is 7.7"x5.5". I suspect Levenger has chosen this awkward size which is neither A5 nor half-Letter so that you have to order their notebooks, as this is not a common size. Japanese B6 notebooks (e.g. from Mnemosyne) are 5.06"x7.09" which would be a little loose, but might work? The latter would probably fit quite nicely but as a twin ring notebook might have a problem in the spine. I personally like Japanese paper a lot - for fountain pens they're much better than Levenger. Although I will admit the picture posted in the description is quite convincing - perhaps they've fixed the paper problem (as long as QC remains good.) One of the reasons I'm passing on this drop is precisely this problem that it's not a standard size (as far as I can tell).
