I can't tell you who makes the nib, but it is quite firm. You're not going to get much line variation out of it. I reviewed the True Writer Select, which I liked a lot. The fine nib on mine was smooth and just on the wet side of a moderate ink flow.
I'm in for the Midnight Blue. (And maybe the purple, too...)

PenHabitThe Levenger website says the nibs are made in Germany. Not knowing the manufacturer of the nib or pen does make this a difficult sell for me, though. If you ever get a chance to review this pen once you receive it, it would be much appreciated.

MarshallmallowlolWill do. But if it's the same nib as the True Writer Select that I reviewed, I suspect I'll like it quite a bit.
