Figured it's time for a mini-review.
I was in a drop for these pens a year ago, and to be honest - after arrival I was so dismayed at their weight, I never actually tried it out - they were packed away in a desk drawer. The weight of these pens will be a shock to anyone who is used to resin-based pens. The L-Tech's are *heavy*.
Several months later, I'm tidying and found the L-Tech pens, and decided to try writing with them. I popped in the supplied black ink cartridge and started writing. To my surprise, the (F-nib) pen wrote smoothly and with just the right level of wetness (not so dry to be scratchy, not too wet to cause feathering and bleed-through).
I have a new appreciation for the L-Tech pens. They may not necessarily suit the suit and tie corporate office, but for someone with a more active lifestyle, who wants a pen that will stand up to some abuse, this is the pen for you. I wouldn't be surprised if you could drive a truck over it, and have it still work.
