Hello Doc, We met in your neighborhood last summer and you were very kind to show me some of your watches. Because of our meeting and seeing the Orthos, it was easy for me to take this offer. Thanks for making this available. Best wishes and keep up the great work.

Can this not come with the leather strap instead?
squidler7sThe watches will ship mounted on the bracelet, as shown in the pics. The straps are all optional add-ons.

I have both an Orthos 1 and an Orthos 2 and I can highly recommend them. And the customer service Is second to none. You really can't go wrong with these

Not much of a massive drop from the MSRP on this one. It's great to see the fanboys out again in full force. I hope it goes well for L&H.

because your comments, in addition to being repetitive, are rude and boorish. If hypocritical to boot, that would be a bit much. I'll take you at your word that you're only a hater spouting hate, and not also a hypocrite. Apologies. Carry on...

maninblackNo, I'm not a hater. I was just calling it as it is. I thought Massdrop was about giving a decent discount.

Lew & Huey (and NTH) are, from a consumer's experience, very very good watches! Period! And stand behind their products.
Once these are gone, the company has said, they're not making any more.

I have the Orthos II version of this watch (just a different style bezel edge), and it's an absolute tank. Great buy at this price.

Also, a dive watch without ISO 6425 certification? Not really a dive watch at all then, is it...

nitrobackflipA dive watch doesn't have to have a ISO 6425 certification. Did you know that there's such thing as skin diving?

NTL27No it doesn't, but I would venture to guess that most people don't know that there's a significant difference between a watch face that says "300 M" and one that says "Diver's 300 M". All I'm saying is that calling something a dive watch because of its design and then talking about its WR rating is potentially misleading when it's not a certified diver.

Complete omega po rip off. Doesn't even work well. The bezel is too loud, needs a bore subtle dial. Loud bezel with loud dial that doesn't match. Not a fan.

Stop resorting to personal insults. There are many independent watches that use seiko movements. The difference is they don't go into the market at 600 bucks (their pre discount price). These prices are just delusional for what it is. The bezel is awful, the dual is awful and the two combo do not go together and makes it awful

TigerUKI have insulted no one, except maybe the people you are afraid of disappointing. That's no ad hominem, friend, so your Reddit rules of argument don't apply.
But now you've gone from "it's a ripoff" to "it's not a ripoff, but I feel bad," to "it's overpriced and ugly."
Pick a reason for your arbitrary hate, please. It's getting hard to keep track.

Looks interesting but at that price I'd want a better movement.
