My father was career Air Force and I was enlisted Army. Neither of us were pilots but I've been around enough F4's in my time to not understand anything about this watch that has anything to do with the F4, except maybe some font/lettering similarity?

imo you can buy pretty much every equal quality seiko for under 250 and this is probably lower quality than a real seiko for way more money.... idk

I have no experience with this brand. But looking at the specs vs the price, it does not equate. This is only my opinion, your mileage may vary. I do think they are nice looking watches, and I would be tempted to try the brand at around $125-$150 mark.
Omegaman68> at the specs vs the price,
Could say more about doesn't add up for you?

YourEyesWillBleedIn my opinion, a watch at the $350 price should have a sapphire crystal and at least a Miyota 9100 movement (or a lower end ETA or SW200). There is nothing wrong with an acrylic crystal and I get that they may be using to get a vintage look, but that should be reflected in the price. Also, the Seiko NH35 is a great movement but let's face it, it can be purchased very cheap. You can find a lot of these "upgraded" features in many other brands such as Aragon for at least $100 or more less. again this is just my opinion, but for this price I would put my money into something like a Tissot etc. If you like the watch and you are comfortable with the cost than that's great, wear it often and enjoy it. It is a good looking watch and it would be in my collection at the $150 mark. I hope this helps.

I had a Lew and Huey, I was not impressed at all, I can't understand how they have such a following. Then on watch forums, the owner acts like a tough guy and gets super mad if someone brings up an issue with his brand. There is no such thing as constructive criticism to him, he sees it as a direct insult. If you buy this and don't like it, keep your honest opinions to yourself or you will get ganged up on.

I have that khaki face one, and it is great! Once these are all gone, Doc said he won't be making the Phantoms or Spectres again.
