So it's basically useless with modern iOS, but it's still usable on the USB side. This could be really useful for Tesla owners, if only it were a few inches longer.
**DISCLAIMER POTENTIAL BUYERS** This unit does not work with iOS beyond iOS 7. It should still function as a normal USB though. But it's extremely bad practice for Massdrop to be selling an item that cannot function as advertised without putting that in giant red letters on every page of this drop. Sure, read the fine print. But assuming there is no return policy as always this is sketchy as hell.
Careful, I bought one, it didn't work after 2 days, I didn't have the packaging, so they only gave me about a 60% credit :(
i made my first massdrop purchase w/o reading the small print ???? i was unlucky enough to get the stick - why? because it does not work with the latest OS - all you get is a very expensive USB stick.  That's maybe also the reason why Lexar sells this useless products with such a big discount I tried to contact massdrop and got as feedback - read the fineprint next time and WE DO NOT TAKE RETURNS !!!! Lexar on the other hand is much better - they send you a RMA after x-emails but w/o a label So you need to ship by tracked email and hope that they send you another replacement that will not work either

Who did you speak to at Lexar? I emailed their Support, and they told me to go back to the seller. Massdrop (being the seller) is refusing to take it back as a return so I'm stuck in the middle with both the seller and manufacturer refusing to do anything about the problem. Just a note to any future buyers of this device, Lexar mentioned that this device (the C20i) is compatible with devices on iOS 7 and lower. Yep, you read it right - that's a 7. That's 5 iOS versions ago! (i.e. a 5 year old OS)
This would have been pretty handy for me, but then I got hit with “This drop does not ship to Norway” 🙃

Da bør du flytte deg xD
I'm seriously considering getting this, 16gb just ain't cuttin' it. Would it work on an iPhone 5s on iOS 10-ish? Anyone know?

Ok, I just read it only works up to iOS 7. If I were Massdrop I wouldn't even carry such a useless product... the only people still using iOS 7 are old folks and stubborn jailbreakers
It's a really bad product, if you want something good for apple storage, go check "Leaf" ;)

Your exaggerating now, but yeah, my life my choice. Never said I needed one though.

Well it's my experience, and the same happened to some friends, although i hadnt any types of problems with other devices.
Can't ship to Alaska? That's a bit ridiculous, this thing can't weigh much...
I tried a 128Gb with my iPad mini. It worked for about 2 months; and now will not be recognized by the software. The usb side still works on a computer. The lightning connector is useles.

I've been waiting for someone to confirm if this still works with current Apple products or not. Seems like it does not :(
Why no overseas shipping? Is this a Lexar restriction because these are rather more expensive here?
can this also be used to charge the device?
might be a cheaper alternative to sandisk ixpand!
Does anyone have experience with this drive with the latest iOS? There are several Amazon reviews saying that it doesn't work with the latest iOS.

It is possible that the problems associated with the MM software may be due to iOS 12.0.1 or iOS 12.1 (beta release).

I have the same questions (So I'm just commenting so I can find this again haha)
