For those who just want this monitor without the USB-C and USB ports, the 27UD69-W has finally been released and is available for $499.99 at Best Buy and other retailers. Apparently same panel, and similar white/silver color scheme. Has the ergonomic stand (height, tilt, and rotate) as well.
This drop is now only worth the wait if you need the USB-C input, the 2-port USB hub, and/or the 3-year warranty (UD69-W has standard 1-year consumer warranty from LG).

MedionSo we can still cancel without penalty? I may just do that if I can. This is taking way too long and I don't even have a USB-C enabled device haha EDIT: It doesn't appear to be available yet...I could only find it listed on Kings.com and even then it wasn't available for purchase or priced. I'd soon just wait for this drop to someday come through.

Wait until the next update at this point (was it supposed to be today?) and then decide. And then yes, cancel IF you are tired of waiting, and theirs another option available that you'd be happy with.
