For the record, I love this monitor. I won't say it's worth the wait, but today I'm happy. The monitor is awesome!!

I have the UD68, which sounds like it has the same panel. If so, the brightness isn't great if you have your rig in a bright room, and there is a bit of backlight bleed. LG tried way too hard to put a matte finish on the screen too, so the soft glare is almost worse than what a glass panel would do to coloration. Those issues aside, the colors themselves are so rich and accurate, and mine overclocked to 70hz too. on screen menus are fantastic also.

Jag100looks like it can. it has 2 HDMI 2.0 ports so the Pro can drive this monitor, as long as the game renders at 4k or checkerboard 4k

QuadriarchI have one, you can overclock to 75hz no problem. Especially if you drop the resolution too

Also what's this noise about:
> Please note: Orders are anticipated to arrive after December 25th. > Estimated ship date is May 11, 2017.
December 25th? I'm hoping that's not December 25th 2017.

Thanks for the info. Not thumbing up your experience (that sucks) but good to know, regardless.

jalvanilol no problem, thumbs up are good, makes me look like a Massdrop Pro. Overall I do not regret buying the monitor; it's still a good deal and since it's been so long it almost feels as if I didn't pay for it and it just showed up in the mail haha!

Anyone know if a 2015 rMBP can drive this display + a second non-4k (2160x1920) display? I'm looking around and can't find an answer; would love to have both.

jalvaniIt should be fine... but I wouldn't suggest doing high loads on both monitors at the same time, i.e. watching a movie in 4k while playing a graphics intense game. But if you plan on using the extra monitor for coolness or use it mainly over your other one for cinematic stuff, I'd say go for it.

Explain how that it possible considering it has only been 2 weeks and one month from the date you ordered it. If the information you gave was accurate your monitor would be shipping out in the second half of May (3 months) yet you already have yours?
