how do i get the monitor speakers to work? my old monitors worked with the display cable. so i didn't need another cord. does this monitor not work the same way?

nicoleborkI have the 24 inch version of this monitor. There are no speakers in the monitor, just an empty place for them. There is a headphone port, but I have never used included speakers in monitors as they sound horrible.

zvnmThe 24 inch was all the room I had for a monitor. If I had room for the 27 inch that's exactly what I would have gotten. I'm just using it on a hand-built PC with an GTX 1060 video card. Mostly using it for video editing and stuff.
